José Salgado was one of the points of contact for the pilot-study 'Strengthening FDI and SME Linkages in Portugal', as well as the national point of contact for the FDI Qualities initiative on the matters of investment policy. He has a degree in Law from the University of Lisbon, and an MA from the College of Europe. José Salgado worked in the European Parliament and as a consultant in European affairs before joining the Ministry of Economy in 2014.
